Sharing my experience using Blogs

Hi! This is my last blog of the year. I thought that a resume about my experience could be perfect to conclude this cycle.

When I started the university and I realized that I will have english for almost three years I was thinking about how it would be the class and the methodology of  the teacher, I thought that it will be as my high school classes, maybe the teacher would write  something in the board, and students will copy it in his notebook. But, in my case, I found interesting the way that we had work this semester, the best of all the things that we made, were the use of blog. This tool it`s perfect to practice english, because there's no shame as when we had to prepare oral presentations, and our possibility to choose our words it’s more careful, and I think it help me a lot to be better writing and knowing for my own new expressions, about the different topics that I had to write about.

Anyway, it's funny because i thought that the aspect that I always needed to improved was practicing with conversations face to face. I normally try to practice alone, with short phrases that I recite, but the dynamic of a conversation it's very different. It's hard to improved this aspect, but I think I will ask for help to any friend in vacation, until I start the next semester with english class again.

It help a lot learning english, mainly because in university, teachers made us read papers in this language. But the reason I use a lot of english it’s because I love music and the major percent of the music i listen to, it's in english. I usually try to understand the lyrics, so in this case I use what I had learn.

I wish everybody entertain in his vacation, and have a good time with his family and friends, see you the next year !!

Archaeology II

This semester was a little different of the first, so I really don't have a favorite subject, but I think that the best it's archaeology II. Especially the topics about ideology and differents focus on the archaeology theory. The contents  that we learnt,  was about the main theories on archaeology. For example, symbolic archaeology,  archaelogy of power, cognitive archaeology, and social archaeology of latinoamerica. I enjoyed the relations with some problems in archaeology as how we can knew the thought of the past humans beings through material rests; or the debate about the concept of art and symbolism in others cultures differents than ours, and how overcome the disadvantages of not to count with writings fonts to rebuild the past. 

Now in classes we will debate about the relation of archaeology  and heritage, and the relations betwen the scientific knowledges and the historical memories of comunities about his past and present, a topic very interesting and neccessary in our context. 

With this exception, we don't made some things different of other on our classes, it was just chair and powers points. But i really apprecciated the work on a personal essay, because it let me freedom to search about something new  of what in regular classes we saw. It was a subject more critical and diverse in contents, in that sense i found t was one of the best of this last semester.
